Meet Michael Stratford, MCC, Consultant/Executive Coach

Michael Stratford is a leader in the field of coach training and development. He has trained over 4,000 coaches worldwide and has written and developed curriculum for a number of coach training organizations, including the creation of an in-house “Leader Coach” training program for corporations. He has earned a reputation for helping others achieve a level of excellence in communication, leadership, and team performance.

Michael has coached executives in top Fortune 50 companies. He has worked with individuals and groups at Cisco Systems, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, GE, the Whirlpool Corporation, Wells Fargo, the Vertex Corporation, and GW Computer Systems among others. In 1997, he worked with the Wharton Business School to revamp the MBA Leadership Retreat as part of their Leadership Training Program.

Michael specializes in the Art of Inquiry as a Leadership Development tool. His creativity, mastery of language, and improvisational spontaneity have helped him forge new strategies and solutions for his clients that consistently remain congruent with who they are and their personal methodology of accomplishment. Michael has a light and playful approach, yet through his masterful coaching and training, he quickly reveals a depth of knowledge and understanding on a wide range of human and organizational issues.

An accomplished author, Michael has written three books on coaching in the Master Coach Series and has been featured in Men’s Health Best Life, numerous newspapers, and on the NBC Evening News.

His latest adventure is launching his “Game of…™” series of books, tapes, games, and workshops ranging from The Game of Cutting Edge Leadership™ to The Game of Your Life™.

Michael lives in Southern California with his lovely wife, who is his “A to Z and then some.”
